Indoor Location

Locate personnel and assets reliably in environments where GPS signals are unavailable or unreliable. The SMC Gateway Indoor Positioning application provides crucial location awareness indoors.

Indoor Location uses low-cost Bluetooth beacons to detect nearby devices, these devices can then be overlaid on plans and displayed.

The application allows the upload of your plans and drawings, placement of beacons and the ability to create views, which can contain multiple plans to provide
a completely custom user experience.

Designed to run on the Gateway V2 and Gateway V2 EP, the application can harness the powerful business logic already built in to raise alarms and messages based on the location of devices and their state.

For example, the location of a radio could be used to automatically trigger lone worker routines when entering hazardous areas, or alert others via radio, SMS or
telephone of an emergency.
