Tyco/ADT MX2/MX4
The SMC Gateway integrates with Tyco/ADT MX2, MX4, and MZX fire alarm panels. Supports both standalone and networked systems for comprehensive coverage.
Connect to Tyco/ADT Panels via Serial Interface
Compatibility is achieved via serial connection (9600 8N1 printer mode) using the on-board COM1 or an optional MPM800 module. A specific Tyco/ADT supplied lead (RJ12 to serial) is required, and the DTR and CTS pins must be shorted to enable data output. Data captured includes:
Alarm/Fault Type
Panel (for networked systems)
Zone and Location
Date, Time, Device Type
