C-TEC XFP Series

The SMC Gateway integrates seamlessly with C-Tec XFP Series fire alarm panels. Capture detailed alarm and fault events directly from your C-Tec system.

Capture Detailed Alarm and Fault Information

Integration is via the panel’s RS232 connection (9600 8N1), requiring a serial lead with bare ends to the SMC Gateways isolated RS232 port. Note that the panel’s CTS connection must be pulled high so ensure at least GND, RX, CTS from the panel is connected to GNS, RX, RTS on the SMC Gateway. Data captured includes:

  • Alarm/Fault Type
  • Panel (for networked systems)
  • Zone, Location, Address, Loop
  • Date and Time of Event
